ACCORDION FOLD FRONT CARD

I love this fold - there is a space to scribe a text - or decorate - which is half hidden by a folded front giving 3 more panels to decorate and 3 back panels to write on.

All you need is 1 sheet of A4 card - always use 1 sheet of A4, because then the colour will remain the same through the card - you would be surprised how much the sheets can vary. I have given the instructions as relates to the card - if you have a folding board so much the better, just work out which line to use.

From 1 x A4 sheet of card

Cut it in half - now you have 2 x A5 sheets of card.

Fold both cards in half - now you have 2 x A6 cards.

Now - keep up with me -

take 1 of the cards and fold the front in half, edge to outer fold - crease it well

take the other card - fold the front in half, edge to outer fold, then fold the back in half, edge to outer fold - this makes an accordion fold section.

You have 2 bits - one base section and one accordion fold front. Hopefully it should be clear the you

glue the upper flap of the bottom section to the bottom flap of the upper section - - - and schazm
