(January 25, 2009)
This is the finished card.

F-EMBOSSED WRAP CARDS
I haven't given measurements because the method works with all sizes.

All these instructions look complicated, but it's not: just follow along and it will happen

F-EMBOSSED WRAP CARDS 1

Measure along the bottom of your card.

Your card to emboss will be this wide.

F-EMBOSSED WRAP CARDS 2

Measure up your card as high as you want the wrap to start.
Your card to emboss will be this high.

F-EMBOSSED WRAP CARDS 3
Take a plain piece of card the correct width and hight
DO NOT EMBOSS YET - i just forgot to take a picture of a plain piece.

F-EMBOSSED WRAP CARDS 4

 Cut from corner to corner.

F-EMBOSSED WRAP CARDS 5

 NOW you do your embossing.

You do one triangle this way round.

F-EMBOSSED WRAP CARDS 6

And the other triangle this way round.

You MUST turn the 2nd card otherwise the wrap design will not be embossed the same way when you wrap it - trust me I have tried all sorts!

F-EMBOSSED WRAP CARDS 7

Lay the embossed pieces where you want them on the card

F-EMBOSSED WRAP CARDS 8

Draw a pencil line on the card behind

F-EMBOSSED WRAP CARDS 10

This gives you the mark so you know your stamp will sit neatly between the wrap.

Attach the front pieces with double sided tape, paint or colour the stamp and add ribbon trim along the cut edges of the embossed card to neaten it.
