Crafter's Corner CHEESE BOX (December 17, 2009)
Little Crimbo pressie for you - this is a super easy - super cool - no measure - no glue - make any size - really clever - little treat box
It's called a cheese box - coz it look like a slice of cheese :-)
Follow the instructions first - then play with sizes
you need an A4 sheet of card - or decent weight pattern paper
- cut in half length ways (10.5cm)
- then score and fold in half across the short side as you would for an A5 card
- mark the centre of each short side
- and score a line from the side of the middle fold to the centre mark on both sides
- fold the edge sides down - magic - cheese box
- punch holes on the folded down flaps and thread with ribbon to keep together
Side view with hole and ribbon
You get it all with this one - cute shape - pretty tie ribbon - and a great flat bit to decorate
you could make these from half an A5 sheet in wedding paper for wedding favours - with the couples initials on - how cool would that be
You could make tiny ones and fill with smarties for a kiddies treat
Have fun!!
Make it for Easter too
