1. 1. On the back of your topper card draw lines 0.5cm and 1cm from the edge, all the way round
2. Line up the drawn lines with the lines on your folding board and score along them
2.
3. When you turn over your piece of card you will have a pretty embossed frame to stamp inside
4. Ink up you stamp and stamp in the central space, then ink up just the basket area and stamp on you smaller card scrap.
TIP – For this project I am using a white pearl card and Memento ink because I am going to colour with my Copics. If you have never tried colouring on pearl card with Copic – give it a try; they blend just beautifully. If you are going to water colour you need to use a waterproof ink. I usually use Memento for this as well because they are right in front of me and I have loads of colours (you don’t need all the Staz-on AND all the Mementos – and the Small Memento pads are only £1.50). If I want a stronger image Staz-on has a much ‘blacker’ look.
5. Then colour your image.
6. Cut around the basket of flowers – you don’t have to get into all the tiny spaces, it won’t show when we have finished.
7. Place the basket face down on your mat and gently rub your embossing tool in small circle to make the paper curl up to make a dome shape
8. Stick your raised basket over the basket on your coloured image.
9. Decorate your image with gems, peel -offs, glitter etc and mat with a really strong colour to match
10. Make up your card
