Essays & General Comments 07-10-08 LAUNCH OF NEW WEB SITE (October 08, 2007)
Well here it is guy's, the all new improved singing and dancing web site. With great thanks to spud for recommending this program - it must be one of the best I have used in the past 25 years (great chorus of - kitten you are not that old! - will be expected now. (ps i have not worked out the spell check yet so we are in the hands of the gods).
I am so excited about my new venture. Since Vista ate my old site i have tested about 5 web site designers - one nearly had me in tears (it was a Dreamweaver style as you ask). One I could not even get installed and set up because I could not understand the instructions - and it was aimed at real novices. ME, how dare they. I have been working with computers since they hit the office scene and have been using one at home for the past 15 years - i think this must be my 4th system. I have used DOS (pre windows for all you spring chickens), worked in BASIC, done a bit of ASSKI and i just REFUSE to learn another programming language when i don't have to.
Anyone who is looking to rework/update/whatever their web sitereally should have a go at the free trial from these guys. When I emailed with a little question before I regestered I had an answer at once - and one I could understand. I can't stand people who uses all sorts of accromyms and tec words, but can't explain anything.
I also must add a quick mention for my new host service - old ones were so rude - would not help or advise or anything - so good bye them and many greatful thanks to daily.co.uk who have been fantastic - thanks guys, would not be here with out you.
Somewhere in this program there is something that lets you set up a page for people to add comments - hope to find it soon. In the mean time SHOUT LOUDLY.
Anyway all you guys have had enough praise from me - what we all want to get on with the real business of the world . . . . LET'S GET CRAFTING.
