"Just as mind games such as crossword puzzles and sudoku may fend off Alzheimer's, the active stretching of the perceptive skills and the regular commitment to replication or expression keeps the neural hinges oiled.

He is so right! I have really struggled to create full pages today.

It works - and I am kind of happy with it - but it is missing a certain zing, just can't put my finger on it. Needs more thinking about and I will return to the idea soon.
Now this is more like it - fairly plain and simple for me - but the colours are great together - the background colours and texture pattern is subtle but really, really boosts the photos. The pics are matted on bright, shiny gold and all the accents match. Super (even princelet is pleased with it).
I guess that's the key - if a page/card/album works - you can't wait to describe all the detail and itch to pass on all

the tiniest details of what you did - when if is not quite right, well, you sort of pass over the top
So here we go - new page in the middle of working - all sorts of stuff going on. It's got green - it's got yellow - it's got really, touchy, feelie embellishments (as in a REAL cow tag), patterned, textured paper, ribbon and as well as all this - a really serious cheat on the original sketch
SEE- SCRAPBOOK SKETCHES-06-0? for the final page.
Gosh, I am good!!!!
