Scrapbook Sketches 08-07-24 CUT AND EXPAND(July 24, 2008)You have GOT to be brave to start this one - I want you to cut up - yes - CUT UP your photo. Space out the pieces and mat them before you add them to your layout.
 This is quote a 'busy' paper - I think it's one of the Paper Mania screen printed foil ones. I have added to the texture with stamped, stamped/embossed, gold peel offs, peel off negatives, brads - all up the right hand side. I have continued the swirls that are on the paper at the top, over the photo with Staz-on ink on the stamps.
Now I have been quite restrained ( my first time!!!) with cutting up the photo - BUT
- cut it in uneven rectangles
- just it just horizontal - or vertical
- cut it on the diagonal
-cut it in diagonal shapes unevenly
- mix up the squares so the photo is not quite as it should be
- space it wider and mat each piece separately
- do any of the above with a background photo / pattern paper - THEN add another photo over it
